We all remember playing the Ninentdo 64 game Banjo-Kazooie, a platforming game with a bear with his feathery side-kick in his backpack. After around 9 years, Rare has released their latest to the series, Banjo-Kazooie Nuts and Bolts.

Now if you played this game 9 years ago, many of you were probably disappointed when your first heard the game would be vehicle based, and you can make your own vehicles to complete challenges. This immediately set me off and I had no interest in getting the game until the demo came out in the Live Marketplace (It's multiplayer also!). And I have to say the game has retained a lot of its charisma and humor and felt just like the first Banjo Game. My friends who never have played a Banjo game were playing the demo for hours! When I saw this happening it had to be nostalgia that blurred my judgement of this game.

If you are a Banjo-Kazooie fan who is put off by the vehicle based game play, try playing it without nostalgia blurring your judgement. The point of the vehicles is to reduce the redudancy of having to transform yourself all the time to do certain things. Rare has made a smart move in using vehicle game play for this game and not making another platformer.
